Behind The Scenes With Naval Aviators–KILLER flybys | World War Wings Videos

A Day In The Life.

We have no idea how this came to be, but we’re glad it did. We’ll admit it though, we’re a bit envious of the fact that these guys got an exclusive look at the lives of these navy guys, but hey, at least they recorded it.

The description of the video indicates that a the Red Elvises got to visit a naval base and that’s it. By doing some digging around, we found out that the Red Elvises are actually an American/Russian band, so it makes sense that some celebrities got to do what we taxpaying schmucks can’t. Ok, so maybe we’re a bit more than envious. Jealous might be the appropriate word (half joking.)

If you’re short on time, skip about 1:30 minutes into the video. That’s when the flybys start.

Now that we got that out of the way, let’s get down to it. This video is pretty epic. The guys from the band first got to ride to the airstrip where the pilots practice, all the while getting some pretty awesome information about what they do, how they train etc…It’s worth a listen because you may find out some things you never knew.

As with most things in life however, all good things come to those who wait. At the end of the video, the band stood right at the end of the runway and got buzzed multiple times. Some of them were so low in fact that the officer had to get a stick and retrieve his hat from the other side of the fence because the draft took it. Those were pretty epic flybys for sure.
