Bomber Camp / Facebook
This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, for sure. Bomber Camp lets you have a first-hand experience of what it feels like to go on a bombing mission during World War 2. It’s a step back in time to the bloodiest conflict in human history where you’ll receive the same training as the WW2’s aircrews. The two-day immersive program will allow you to feel as if you’re actually there from the sights to the sounds and smells and at the end, you get to use your new skills while up in the air.
Fun Fact: The Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress dropped more than 640,000 tons of bombs during World War 2.
Located at 7432 Ce Dixon St., Stockton, California, this is definitely not for the faint of heart. Besides, there are many who put this down on their bucket list and if you’re one of them, this is your chance to check it off.
It’s one thing to read about the hardships endured by the men and women who served during WW2 by flying on bombing missions. But to experience it like this, that’s a whole different story.
