It’s one of the most dangerous beasts in the sky. It’s been almost 20 years since its first flight but man, it’s still one heck of a jet fighter. This is mostly the reason why plenty of people think a few tweaks to the F-22 Raptor is a much better idea than developing a sixth generation fighter. Well, we can’t argue with that logic.

The result of the USAF’s Advanced Tactical Fighter program, the aircraft was designed primarily as an air superiority fighter, but has additional capabilities including ground attack, electronic warfare, and signals intelligence roles.

Just check out this jaw-dropping F-22 take off at Fairford. The thrust vectoring will blow you away, figuratively speaking. It’s an unbelievable aircraft itself and you gotta hand it to the pilot too (just a typical day at work) — serious skills and technique right there. Who needs gravity, right?
