First Person View Of 3 Mustangs Doing A Loop Together-Check Out That Proximity | World War Wings Videos

This Really Makes You Feel Like You’re There

This is possibly the best video we’ve got that makes you feel like you’re actually flying in formation. Not only that, its shot by the ‘Horsemen,’ a display team that flies your favorite P-51 Mustangs. This particular event took place in 2009 at the Flying Legends Airshow at Duxford.

The three pilots that are a part of this team are:

  • Ed Shipley who flies left wing and is the founder of the Bremont Horsemen. He has over 20 years of experience flying many World War II planes
  • Steve Hinton flies lead with over 35 years of experience piloting with over 150 different types of planes
  • Dan Friendkin flies right wing and started flying the P-51 Mustangs at the age of 20

This team of expert pilots have been entertaining World War II airplane enthusiasts for over ten years now. To make them even better, they also fly other famous aircraft such as Bearcats, Corsairs, and Lightnings. Their motto: Escape Life’s Gravity. Enough said!
