Great Job Man.

This video was given to us by the good folks at Essential RC, a YouTube channel you should definitely check out if you love Rcs or aviation in general. This guy’s steady hands and understanding of how these things are flown make for great videos. Check them out.

Here’s the one he just sent us. It’s of a 1:8th scale framework for either an F-35B Lighting II or an AV-8B Harrier. We’ve only seen one such model before and to be perfectly honest it wasn’t that impressive but it seems like this guy knows exactly what he’s doing.

The Rc is powered by a 130mm EDF system that runs about 2 Grand.

Designed and flown by Joel Vlashof, this baby is powered by a 130mm EDF system. As you’ll see, this thing can take off vertically in quite a stable way and that’s something extremely impressive if you think about it. Its controller is equipped with VTOL software that makes it behave the way it does, but to make things even more interesting, this model will be able to transition to horizontal flight and back once complete.

Joel is expecting to finish his Rc soon by adding the fuselage. As soon as he does, we’ll definitely let you know as soon as it happens.
