Brilliant Filmmaker Captures Jets Of The Mach Loop
Passion For Speed.
Jesper Rådegård is a brilliant filmmaker with a passion for aviation. Time and time again he has turned his creative visions towards the sky and captured planes in a beautiful cinematic style. Now Rådegård has traveled across Europe to the United Kingdom to capture the legendary Mach Loop.
The Machynlleth Loop (Mach Loop) a series of valleys in Wales and one of the most intense proving grounds for pilot training. Pilots test their skills speeding through these valleys at altitudes while navigating twists and turns. On any given day you might see an F-22 breaking the sound barrier and it zooms through the hillside or a C-130J Super Hercules proving that size doesn’t matter in these narrow valleys.
“The RAF will fly Panavia Tornado fighters, as well as Eurofighter Typhoons and BAE’s Hawk Trainers through the Mach Loop, while the US Air Force will fly F-15E Strike Eagles, F-22 Raptors, and even C-130J Super Hercules turboprop cargo planes.”
A long hike up the mountain, windy conditions, and a 10-hour wait couldn’t stop Jesper Rådegård and his film crew from capturing the Royal Air Force from these death-defying stunts. When it comes to planes you know that Jesper Rådegård is always filming with passion, this is all the proof you need.
