Lowest F/A-18 Hornet Flyby Lives Up To Its Title

This video shows one of the best F-18 Hornet flybys we’ve seen in a long time. It is unclear however whether the pilot just took off and kept low to get that awesome shot (it’s still cool though) or if he just swooped down that low to show off to his buddies. Either way, you’ll love this video.

It seems like the guys filming this were made aware of this happening beforehand. The clip opens up with the guys driving to the airstrip and everyone seemed to be excited.

When they pulled up, you can see a speck in the distance down the runway. Within seconds, that became a full sized F-18 that flew by maybe 3 feet above the ground! Now that’s a thing to witness. The guys yelled out in excitement which as we all know, is the appropriate reaction to seeing such an awesome thing.

We’re not sure where this took place exactly, but some of the comments suggested that it might have been the Spanish air force. If that was so, we do know for sure that their air force operates 83 Hornets as of this writing. As you’ll see in this video, they sure know how to use them.
