Pilot Tries Taking Off Without Untying One Side-See How Bad It Ends Up

We just saw this pop up on Instagram and figured we’d share it with you guys. We have no idea about the ins and outs of this story or where it happened, but we do know that one of the tie downs wasn’t undone. The rest transpired as you can imagine.

Poor guy that appears on the bottom of the screen almost got killed because of this too. We’re not sure on the condition of the pilot but we hope he made it and decided to stay away from aircraft from then on because this was a simple thing to avoid. All you had to do is make a quick loop around the helicopter and visually inspect it. That’s pretty simple for something that could have disastrous consequences.
