Plane Tries Taking Off On Jammed Road, Ends Up Slamming Into Parked van

It’s incredible how many videos come out of Russia that you simply can’t explain. Although we’ve seen plenty of planes take off from a regular road, they’re typically planned and there are no cars on the road. Here, you clearly see cars driving in the opposite direction while this dude is trying to take off.

Sputnik News reported that they have no idea as of now as to why the pilot was trying to take off from the road. They did gather that the night before the same plane was seen spraying nearby fields against locusts. As for the pilot, he was taken to the hospital with only minor injuries. The driver of the van was uninjured but said he stopped on the road to let a pedestrian cross in front of him. You can actually see that person jump out of the way of some debris and dive for cover.

The crash wasn’t the worst thing to happen, however. The real tragedy here is the guy who still records video vertically. The plane you can fix but trying to teach someone to take video horizontally is almost impossible once they’re set in their ways.
