Su-35 Can Do CRAZY Maneuvers That Leave US Behind | World War Wings Videos

This Is Real Supermaneuverability.

If this is news to you, then hold on to your seats. If you already know of the Sukhoi Su series, then you should be looking forward to watching them fly in High Definition.

This footage was taken at the 50th Paris Air Show at Le Bourget, France. As always, some of the best warbirds were showcased, but it was the Sukhoi Su-35 that impressed spectators the most. Their maneuverability cannot be matched by any other plane the the world.

The original Su-27s were flown in 1977 and were a direct response to the development of F-14 Tomcats and F-15 Eagles.

This is due to many factors, the most notable one being the aircraft’s post-stall behavior. This means that after the plane stalls, normal flight controls such as the elevators and ailerons won’t control the aircraft. These planes level off however and can be flown further after regaining speed.

Although F-22 Raptors were built to be supermaneuverable, their maneuvers are still not as dramatic as the Su family of fighters. We did some digging around, and it’s interesting to note that there is no consensus on what EXACTLY makes the Su family so nimble. Although there are many speculations, there is no solid answer. Until then though, enjoy this crazy show!
