A Must In Your Bucket List

Those who served as air crews during World War 2 can attest to the fact that flying on a bombing mission is one of the toughest jobs ever. And if you would like to experience what it was like minus the real danger, then you might consider checking out this year’s Bomber Camp. Aside from shooting a .50 cal as a waist gunner, you can also ride in the ball turret or like what’s shown in the video, use the famous Norden Bombsight to drop dummy bombs.

Fun Fact: After World War 2, the Norden Bombsight was also used during the Korean War.

It’s a training program like no other. For two days, you will get to witness what you normally just read on books or watch on documentaries. There are limited slots, by the way, so if you’re interested, you might check them out or go and enlist already. This year, the schedule is from May 30 to June 1. It’s definitely something you can look forward to. Besides, not everyone can claim they flew on a bomber and shot at targets!
