Large B-17 Flying Fortresses Goes Up In The Air

According to the description, the B-17s you’re going to be seeing up in the air are flown by Dave and Andy Johnson. From what we can see, they really know their craft, as the bombers fly to scale and from afar, you wouldn’t be able to tell that they’re not full-size planes.

As for where this was shot, it was the East Kirby Large Model Association Show. Located in the U.K., the event draws some of the best pilots and modelers around, and as you can imagine, a hefty crowd of very enthusiastic people.
