Amen Brother.

Fox News just released a story about a truck driver pulling over during rush hour when he saw something in his rearview mirrors. It’s making rounds all over the internet and for good reason. It’s something we all should aspire to.

Kristen Collins posted a picture on her Facebook profile of a man on the side of the road holding his hand over his heart while she was in a procession to put to rest her grandfather, Fred Ladage, who served in the Navy during World War II. She immediately knew he was doing it for him as his gaze followed all the cars in the procession.

Her Facebook post below is what started it all.

Feeling moved, she felt like she needed to track this man down and found out his name was Bradley Faulkner. She wanted to thank him personally for the beautiful gesture. Coincidently, Faulkner’s wife saw the picture and the two connected, Collins finding out he served in the U.S. Army in Iraq. He just felt he had to do it out of respect.

This story has to be one of the most heartwarming things we’ve seen this year. It’s a small gesture, but a powerful one. We need more people like this in the world who have nothing but uttmost respect for our veterans and know how to show it.
