The Vicious Weaponry Of The Deadliest Gunship – The Perfect Killing Machine

There are several great combat aircraft in the United States Air Force and they all serve a purpose, to win. They can win by bullets, by bombing, by out speeding they all have a respective strength. But there is one plane that can simply win by inspiring fear because its enemies know that this plane wins the battle before battle starts, the AC-130 Gunship.

The AC-130 brings terror to the terrorists and has been known to send them fleeing from battle when it arrives on the scene. For over 50 years the deadliest gunship has provided close air in combat zones with its massive arsenal and stays in use due to constant upgrades.

The centerpiece of the AC-130 is its 30mm Mk44 Bushmaster II cannon which is able to pump out 200 rounds per minute. These powerful rounds can pierce armor, detonate on impact and cause immense damage when fired from above. The weapons systems are operated by Combat Systems Officers who use advanced infrared sensors to aim the cannon with deadly precision.
