This is an Engineering Marvel of Its Time

This footage features an almost 100-year-old plane, a 1928 Ford Tri-Motor “City of Port Clinton” taking flight at Findlay Wings and Wheels 2024. It’s great to see some of these engines still in the air, these engines definitely growl when climbing. So cool! Imagine this plane flying in one back in its heydays to some exotic locale! That was a really fast, take-off, too!

Do you also know this plane is the world’s first metal airliner? Overall, excellent stuff- what a beautiful plane, very nicely kept, too! A long line of aviation enthusiasts would love to take a ride on her.
