Bet you wish you worked in this ‘office’, don’t you? Because in all honesty, it’s my life-long dream. Exuding air superiority and an efficient strategic weapon, the Boeing B-17 Fortress is definitely one of our favorite classic war birds. This beast of a machine is not just legendary but it has proven its worth to the United States Army Air Forces (USAAF) time and time again.

We love seeing it fly over stadiums but have you ever thought what it’s like to fly inside this huge aircraft? Not sure which I liked best: the revving of the engine as the plane starts or the sweet, lovely sound as it tears through the sky. Well, it’s a beautiful noise for those on the ground but for the pilot and crew inside the plane, imagine having to stand that for hours on end. That’s seriously tough. But at the end of the day, this will always be a wonderful, iconic bird.
