On September 25, 2016, Sentimental Journey, a 1944 B-17G Flying Fortress, performed a cold start at Beech River Regional Airport. This historic aircraft, one of the few still flying, was originally built during World War II and now serves as a tribute to the veterans who flew these bombers.
