You’ll Literally Never Be Able To See This Again.

Rockets definitely make things more awesome. Add them to anything, a tractor even, and it automatically makes it more awesome. It’s not only the speed at which they propel objects, but also the sound that they make. Loud and scary, rockets are great. You fire one at dusk however, and the visuals are even cooler than you could imagine.

This video was taken back on October of 2009. Sadly, this was the last time this maneuver was performed. Although this was part of the show since 1975, by 2009 there was a shortage of rockets and it was taken out of the show. It’s really that simple. We do however, have lots of footage of it happening.

Unless you’ve been to a Blue Angels’ show or have some knowledge of them, you probably don’t know about Fat Albert or just “Bert.” Although this amazing C-130T Hercules is used to transport the crew and other personnel, it’s a pretty awesome part of the show. Even without JATO, you wouldn’t believe what these pilots can do with a plane this size. From the high performance takeoff to a Short-Field Assault Landing, seeing Bert perform is quite a thing to witness.
