Crash Landing on Enemy Territory
This clip is taken from the 2008 movie, Winter in Wartime. It’s about a 14-year-old boy who becomes a member of the resistance after helping out a wounded British soldier. In the clip, we see the British pilot making a crash landing as the boy witnesses it from the window of his home.
A Nazi soldier tracks down the landing site, and he notices blood dropping on the snow from above. The wounded soldier lands on a tree still with his parachute intact, and before the enemy sees and kills him, he pulls the trigger. This scene shows how horrifying and dangerous it is if you’re from the Allied forces landing on Nazi-occupied territory.
