D-Day 80th Anniversary Air Display at Duxford in 2024

Fantastic Aerial Display
This footage features an air display at Duxford this year. The event was to tie in with the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings.
The main part of the commemorations was the small collection of C-47s and DC-3s of the D-Day Squadron.
You can watch the C-47s picking up parachutes for drops over Normandy during the day. Other cool planes featured were the Mustangs, which was a nice change to see since not a lot of Mustangs on the display circuit carry drop tank fittings.
The Comet also looks spectacular, as it looks new as if it could have been built last year with lovely clean lines.
