RC Stuka Drops Bomb, Doesn’t End Well

Putting It To The Test
The guys from FliteTest made a historically accurate diving mechanism and then put it to the test on their Ju87 Stuka dive bomber model. Along with the sirens and bomb drops, they also aimed to recreate the techniques that the Stuka used during the war.
The Stuka bomb drop is a rather interesting bomb drop since it doesn’t just drop the bomb, but it actually flings it off the plane so that the bomb doesn’t actually hit the prop. They recreated this in their model and placed GoPro mounts to place in the bombs for the viewers to see the view of the bomb.
During their second run, one of the drone pilots managed to hit close to the target, but suddenly the wing cut loose at 14:03, and the plane totally lost control and smashed to the ground.
As you can imagine, what happened next was a complete disaster.
