Big Three.

The situation with North Korea has been on everyone’s mind lately and it doesn’t look like things will calm down anytime soon. North Korea has been given every chance in the world to back down from threatening nuclear attacks but they don’t listen. But the United States Navy doesn’t back down either and has dispatched its third carrier group to the Pacific amid these threats.

With the developing situation, the US Navy increases its readiness for the possibility of combat with the presence of the USS Ronald Reagan, USS Theodore Roosevelt and now the USS Nimitz joins in. An occurrence like this is almost unheard of but the situation demands it for the safety of those threatened by North Korea’s nuclear weapons.

“Amid an unprecedentedly grave security situation, the deployment of Ronald Reagan and its carrier strike group to the Korean Peninsula and their joint exercise with South Korea is part of the increased deployment of U.S. strategic assets here. It must have been a strong warning to North Korea.”

– General Jeong Kyeong-Doo (Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman)

These ships are prepared for war but we can only hope for the best that North Korea will wise up and step down from making threats.
