Plane Crash Lands on Golf Course, Narrowly Misses Golfer in California

This Piper PA-28 was captured on video as it crash landed on the Haggin Oaks Golf Complex after a complete engine failure.

The footage shows the aircraft skidding across the course, narrowly missing a bystander, before slamming into the shop and cafe. According to officials, the PA-28 dropped 400 feet from the air right after it took off from McClellan airport.

Fortunately, no one on the ground was injured and the pilot managed to escape with just a cut on his hand. However, he was later transported to the hospital as a precaution.

The clear cause of the crash is still unclear as the NTSB is still investigating the incident.
