That wasn’t just the sound of impact, it was the sound of our hearts breaking into teeny tiny pieces. It was a mean-looking machine. What a real shame! We’re under the impression that the cause of crash is pilot error. I mean, did you see that final turning dive? It sure looked like it was flying way too fast or it was probably overpowered. We’re not sure about the “tail left the plane” part though since it seemed like nothing fell off and it was still on the plane when it crashed.

That really hurt. It takes a lot of time and effort (let’s not forget, tons of money) to build something like this. And suddenly, BAM! It just crashed into pieces. Such a big bummer after a great flight. Well, guess everyone has bad days including this pilot. We can only hope they were able to restore the Spitfire.
