Helicopter Pilot Lands Too Hard

What a Ride!

Helicopters have a reputation for being dangerous. After all, who hasn’t seen their fair share of helicopter crashes?

This particular helicopter was about to land on a runway when it “touched” the ground a bit too hard.

The initial impact weakened the tail boom too much that the tail rotor was able to fly away from the aircraft!

If that nightmare wasn’t enough, the helicopter can also be seen spinning for quite a long time.

Fortunately, the pilot of this aircraft wasn’t injured seriously. With that kind of crash, you’d at least expect some broken bones! What a lucky dude!
