Awesome Tank Driving Experience

Ever dreamed about driving a World War II tank? The American Heritage Museum in Hudson, Massachusetts allows you to take control of the legendary M24 Chaffee Tank. This is part of their Tank Driving Experience Program.

The M24 Chaffee tanks were light tanks used by the Allies during the later part of the war. It was also used in post-WWII conflicts such as the Korean War, the First Indochina War, and the War in Algeria. Although it’s a light tank, it weighs over 40,000 pounds- equivalent to 10 SUVs, or even B-17 Flying Fortresses.

The video walks you through how the tank drivers of WWII and the Korean War get inside the hatch and drive this legendary tank. This is definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience from start to finish. Enjoy!
