Holy Mackrel.

On the morning of Friday, June 3oth, a Cessna 310 crashed onto highway 405 near Orange County, California. A motorist going the opposite direction saw the plane stalling out and pulled out his phone to film it. Within seconds, the plane crashed across from him and turned into a fireball.

After seeing the footage, you’d probably assume there were mass casualties because not only did the plane catch fire, it also hit cars.

We’re happy to say that there were no deaths.

According to reports, the pilot was a 62-year-old man who registered his two engine plane just two days before. His passenger was a 52-year-old woman. Both of them survived the crash, the woman reportedly walking out of the plane by herself.

Ian Gregor, the spokesperson for the FAA, told reporters that shortly after takeoff the pilot yelled, “We have a mayday! We have a mayday,” and that he lost one of his engines.

The plane also hit one car and the debris smashed into three others. There were no injuries.
