Crank it Up!

The North American Aviation P-51 Mustang is a long-range, single-seat fighter and fighter bomber that was used both in WWII and the Korean War. During WWII, this fighter had escorted heavy bombers to Berlin and back. It also went down in history as the first US built fighter plane that was able to push its nose over Europe after France fell.

In this video, we get to see the Collings Foundation’s TF-51D Mustang (44-84655) “Toulouse Nuts” fire up its engine and take a lucky passenger to a flight that they’ll never forget. We also get to witness this epic sound of its engine, and watch it taxi the runway and take off. This was taken at the KLVK Airport in Livermore, California on May 27, 2019. Awesome flight!
