What a Machine
The P-51 Mustang is a long-range, single-seat fighter and fighter-bomber that played a key role in World War II. While it was originally overlooked by the USAF, this legendary warbird went on to become one of the best fighters in World War II thanks to its excellent speed, maneuverability, range and fighter power.
This video features the Warbird Heritage Foundations P-51 Mustang “Baby Duck” doing a couple of low and fast flybys during the Gathering of Warbirds event held at the CAF’s Wisconsin Wing in Waukesha, WI last 2017.
Got to say, there’s nothing like the sweet sound of the P-51! That raw sound coming from its powerful engines never fails to give us chills each time. It surely is one of the greatest fighters of all time.
