Do you want to see a cool aerobatic routine on a P-51 Mustang? Well, you can when you watch the video below taken from the Thunder Over Michigan Airshow at Willow Run Airport in Ypsilanti, MI last year.

The stunt was performed by the great pilot Lou Horschel in his North American P-51 Mustang “Mad Max.” We all know that the Mustang is a legendary fighter aircraft from World War II, but it is even more incredible to see it doing aerobatics and hearing the actual sound of its amazing engine take off.

Some of the comments read:

“The sound of compressed fuel and air exploding in a metal cylinder is quite beautiful.”

“Best sounding aircraft engine ever made.”

“I was at the Airshow last year. It was a great show.”
