“The Movie” Memphis Belle

In this video, we get to see the The Movie” Memphis Belle take it last taxi at the Palm Springs Air Museum.

This plane is a B-17G, converted in the 1980s to represent the “F” model. It represented the original Memphis Belle in the 1990 movie “Memphis Belle,” that was directed by Michael Caton-Jones. Just so you know, the two aircraft are different. If you look closely at the Movie Memphis Belle’s nose art, although similar to that to the original Memphis Belle, shows its differences clearly.

Despite it, it would still be an absolute thrill and honor to ride this beautiful warbird. Still, it was awesome to watch it taxi, and the sound of its engines are absolute music to our ears!
