It Happens.

Losing power right after takeoff is never fun. You have minimum speed and little altitude so that puts you in a pretty hairy situation. The pilot in this video did the best he could though.

We got this video from the channel Aviation Buzzword and it was uploaded on October 10th, 2017. The description was pretty short but told us everything we needed to know.

The aircraft took off from the Breda International Airport which is located in the Netherlands. For whatever reason, the plane lost power right after takeoff forcing the pilot to make an emergency landing. He swooped around making a 180-degree turn and while approaching the runway, was facing some strong crosswinds.

On approach, you’ll see what would normally be an aborted landing but with no power, the pilot had no choice. He hit the tarmac really late and hard eventually ended up in the field past the runway. The plane toppled over and came to its final resting stop.

According to the uploader, there were no injuries.
