(4K) VERY RARE Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-23 Flogger in US Airspace!

This Plane is a Blast from the Past

This footage was taken during the recent Sun n’ Fun event, which got to feature an actual MiG-23 flying in the skies. Not only that this is quite a rare plane, but it’s even rarer to actually see it in US airspace. 

Kudos to the maintenance teams for maintaining such aircraft. Their dedication to keeping these machines still flying up to this day is truly admirable. It was also interesting to see the plane’s ventral fin fold down when the gear is retracted on takeoff.

Not to mention, watching old war birds like these still taking flight is a delight to witness. What do you think? Let us know your thoughts!
