The Boeing B-17 is a heavy bomber that proved to be extremely efficient, as it was used during every theater of the war. The plane was legendary in sustaining heavy damage in battle enhanced by its almost self-sufficient firepower. They were not only utilized for daytime raids over Germany but wreaking havoc in the Pacific as well.

The B-17G was the final version of the Flying Fortress, incorporating all the changes done to its predecessor, the B-17F.
