A One of a Kind Spitfire
This Supermarine Spitfire Mk IXb, serial number MH434 just flew on her 80th Birthday!

Fun fact- the MH434 flew more than 80 operational sorties during WWII and scored numerous aerial kills before eventually joining the Royal Netherlands Air Force in 1947 flying ground strafing and light bombing missions in Java with the 322 Squadron.

The โ434 was sold to an auction in 1983 and remains one of the most famous and authentic Spitfire planes in the world. In fact, sheโs the only flying Spitfire to date to have been fully restored.ย
We have to say, we absolutely adore the gorgeous sound of the Spitfire. What an absolute beauty she is!
