The FASTEST MiG-21 Flypast Ever Caught On Camera | World War Wings Videos

Wow, That Was Awesome!

Flybys are awesome. There’s no doubt about it. They are of course better in person, but the next best thing is just seeing them on a screen. That’s where we come in.

Here, we found a crazy low flying MiG-21. According to the description, this took place in Croatia. That’s great because they were able to get a shot of the plane lower and faster than you could in the U.S. because of regulations.

As for the plane, believe it or not it’s still in service in the Croatian Air Force. There are 12 of them in Croatia and they constitute their entire fighter force. They also operate a couple Mi-21 helicopters.

As for Mig-21s, they’re pretty fantastic planes. They first flew in 1956 (yes, merely 10 years after World War II ended). They’re still used by the Indian and Libyan air forces as well. They top out at 1,350 mph, so for a jet that old they’re still incredibly fast.

Check out the video and see for yourself.
