Tora Zero and P-51D Mustang vs. Jet Truck “Hot Streak II”

Total Goosebumps!

During the 22nd Annual Olympic Air Show at Father’s Day Weekend last June 2022, we get to see the Olympic Flight Museum’s Tora! Tora! Tora! “Zero” and their P-51D Mustang flown by Ross and Bud Granley.

An interesting fact about the Tora! Tora! Tora! “Zero” is that the plane is actually a heavily modified North American Aviation Harvard IV (T-6 Texan) trainer that belonged previously to the RCAF. If you ask us, it’s pretty hard to tell that it wasn’t the actual, or original plane. 

Now, we get to see these two planes get to head to head with the Jet Truck “Hot Streak II,” a twin-engine 57 Chevy pickup that could reach speeds up to 350+MPH. We got goosebumps right there at the 10:40 mark!
