Unique Dornier Do 335 – Engine Front & Back

Seeing RC planes always makes me wanna say, “Shut up and take my money!” but then I look at my wallet and then just stay thankful for videos like this — at least it’s free. Lol. Anyway, if you can remember, the real size Dornier Do 335 was the fastest piston-engined aircraft of the Luftwaffe and it was iconic. It had great potential but sadly, only 37 were built mostly due to some delays in engine delivery.

The Pfeil’s performance was much better than other twin-engine designs due to its unique “push-pull” layout and the much lower aerodynamic drag of the in-line alignment of the two engines.

This is an impressive model, by the way. Gotta love that single engine landing. It’s something anyone would be proud to have especially for aviator enthusiasts. I’m pretty sure it took a lot of effort to put this together and make it look, sound and fly like the real thing. Kudos to whoever built this!
