US Air Force Prepares To Launch Newest Gunship – Shows Signs Of Becoming Unstoppable

The AC-130 has a reputation for being the deadliest gunship in the United States Air Force. This vicious weapon of war brings terror to the terrorists knowing full well they have no chance against its power. It was the best at what it does and now the AC-130 is about to get a whole lot better because the US Air Force just declared the AC-130J Ghostrider to be combat ready.
Meet the AC-130J Ghostrider, the latest evolution of the legendary gunship that will soon be winning wars left and right. The upgraded gunship includes digital avionics, advanced targeting equipment, a communications suite, 105 mm guns and is also rumored to have laser-based weaponry.
“We are declaring IOC, Initial Operating Capability, this month on the AC-J. That doesn’t mean anything with respect to putting it in combat — we’re still just shy of two years away from wanting to put those in combat.”

The United States Air Force is expected to order 37 units of the AC-130J Ghostrider to serve in necessary missions. However, despite being combat ready it doesn’t appear that the Ghostrider will be facing combat anytime soon as current gunships are getting the job done.
