Reliving The Ol’ Days

His eagerness to fly again after it finished goes to show how much he loved to be a pilot. Even though veterans are too old to be certified, this did not stop this veteran from reliving his glory days.

With an 80-year gap between flights, Jerry Auerbach still looked spry for his age. His best days are behind him but his passion for aviation is still there. In fact, his son told reporters that even though Auerbach’s short-term memory is gone, he can still tell a lot of stories about the war.
