Always Uncomfortable.

Don’t know about you folks, but anytime one of us here at World War Wings sees a movie, show or even short clip of anyone underwater we tend to hold our breath. It’s pretty odd, but we do it anyway. It’s an extremely uncomfortable thing to watch and we sure hope we’ll never be put into a situation like that.

When you’re a naval aviator, however, there is a chance you might be strapped in a cockpit and headed under.

For this reason, the Navy made the training video below. It shows a pilot being dropped into a water tank and walk the viewing pilots through all the necessary steps of getting themselves free of the chair.

Can you imagine having to go through that and remain cool-headed?

This looks like a good time! I am not sure why you would eject under water. I might have just popped the water wings in the seat and called it a day! •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••#Repost @canopychannel @sinatakkhall52 ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ Video by: Criticalpast •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• #avpic #avgeek #avpics #avgeeks #aviation #crew #cockpit #flight #flying #instapilot #instaplane #installation #aviation #jet #justaviation #plane #planes #pilot #instaplane #spotter #airplane #crewlife #pilotlife #pilotview #instagramaviation #aircrew #airlines #flightdeck
