Best Warbird Ever?
The Grumman F8F-2 Bearcat is one of the best warbirds that the US ever built before going to jets.

This plane has the same engine as the Corsair, but rather than having a big heavy steel prop, it’s hollow and it’s controlled by its own hydraulic source, not off the engine. As a result, it makes it easier to land, take off, and fly in general. Also, the tail has a little angle which helps with the P factor and control.

According to Jim O’Connor, the owner of the Grumman F8F-2 Bearcat in the video, “How can this be faster than a Mustang? Well, because it’s got no rivets on it. They figured out how to fly it without the drag. It’s by far the best warbird we ever made.”
