We love how WWII aircraft engines have this beautiful sound quality to them that you can listen to all day long. This video takes you to an introductory chorus to some of the most prominent aircraft from World War II. From the Mustang and Spitfire’s Merlin V-12, all the way to a P&W-powered Mitsubishi Zero.

We got to say that the most interesting about these warbirds is seeing how hard some of them are to start, and how long they take to get going. It was also awesome to see a large collection of these warbirds that are kept in flying condition.

The Rolls-Royce engine sounded good, and so does the Daimler-Benz engines. The Pratt & Whitney R-2800 blew us away, and the Merlin engines are definitely king! What’s your favorite engine from this collection?
