Say Hello To Papasha!

Whenever I see the PPSh-41, I can only think of one word: ICONIC. It’s often comparable to the M1 Garand and Thompson SMG in terms of its legendary status and perhaps that’s why it’s a classic favorite of anyone who loves guns. One of the things I like about it is its simple design but when you pick it up, it feels tight in your hand.

The PPSh is a magazine-fed selective fire submachine gun using an open-bolt, blowback action. Made largely of stamped steel, it can be loaded with either a box or drum magazine, and fires the 7.62×25mm Tokarev pistol round.

The fact that it has been through so many wars and can still shoot really well (being very fast is a plus by the way), that’s another reason why it’s not the kind of firearm you easily forget. It may not be the most “beautiful” per se but it’s definitely very functional.
