‘109’ Buchons chase a P-47 Thunderbolt and P-51 Mustangs

What an Airshow!
In this footage, we see a lone P-47 Thunderbolt being pursued by a pair of Me-109 Buchons, which were in turn, pursued by three other P-51 Mustangs. As a result, the P-47 managed to escape. This WWII fighter scenario was showcased during the Sywell Airshow 2024.
It’s also worth noting that the Buchon is a ME-109 airframe built under license in Spain. It was equipped with a Merlin engine since Germany, by then, couldn’t produce enough Daimler-Benz engines for Spain during WW2. What are your thoughts on this? Let us know in the comments!
