B-1 Bomber Flyby Sets Off Car Alarms

Even the Cars Approve!

This footage shows a B-1 Bomber doing a flyby as it sets off car alarms below. Sometimes, we forget how fast the B-1 is despite its enormous size. Nicknamed the “Bone” it was one of the United States Air Force’s three strategic bombers along with the B-52 Stratofortress and the B-2 Spirit. It’s a supersonic bomber, so it’s pretty fast—it’s designed for Mach 1.25 with full load at high altitude and approximately Mach 0.9 for low-altitude penetration missions. The power of this plane is incredible. That’s the sound of freedom right there!
