Resting upright at a depth of about 15 meters, the plane lies atop a coral head, its structure largely intact despite the passage of time. The engine has detached but remains nearby, and the tail section and part of a wing float are also separated, lying close to the main fuselage.

Various corals, including brain, lettuce, table, and staghorn, have grown over the aircraft, creating a vibrant underwater scene.
