Video Captures Terrifying Moment Couple’s Plane Crashes When Engine Stalls

Spanish entrepreneur Xavi Caballol, 49, and his partner, Alba Serch, are on a challenging road to recovery following a devastating ultralight aircraft crash at Viladamat aerodrome in Girona on October 19.

The couple fell from 150 feet after the plane’s engine stalled during a maneuver, leaving them with life-altering injuries. Xavi suffered a fractured skull, partial facial paralysis, and broken bones, while Alba sustained severe injuries, including a broken vertebra.

Wheelchair-bound, the pair is undergoing intense physiotherapy to regain mobility. Despite the trauma, they decided to share the crash footage, hoping to raise awareness and improve ultralight aviation safety.

“Even with my experience, I never imagined a stall this violent. I’ll never fly again, even with my pilot’s license.”

The former social media figure, known as “Ferrariman” for showcasing a life of luxury, said the accident reshaped their perspective.

“We used to be selfish, but this second chance has taught us empathy and the importance of helping others. For that, we are forever grateful.”
