The Bell UH-1 Iroquois “Huey” helicopter is a military helicopter that was the first turbine-powered helicopter in service with the US military. It definitely has that unique two-blade rotor sound that newer choppers with multi-blade rotors just don’t have.
Absolutely love it! It was definitely the most iconic helicopter during the Vietnam War era. There’s nothing that sounds like a Huey- there’s something about it that quickens the pulse.
