What a Jump!

This footage takes us to a paratrooper’s perspective of what it feels like to step into thin air over a drop zone. This was taken from a jump in the Netherlands commemorating the anniversary of WWII’s Operation Market Garden.

This was so impressive to see, not only from the jumper’s POV but also from all the other parachutes in the sky. To think that many brave men had jumped off those planes 70 years ago during the war in complete darkness with flak rounds and bullets whizzing by. Hats off to those heroes who did this during the war, and so much respect to these military personnel in the present!
